Featured in this lot is this O.K. Corral, Sandy Bob's Stage .45 Colt bullet relic circa 1880's; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. This relic of the turbulent times surrounding the O.K. Corral in Tombstone, Arizona was found directly across the street at Sandy Bob's Stage Office and were found in the direct line of fire to the historic Gunfight at the O.K. Corral. There is a business card from The Aztec House: Western Relics, Indian Artifacts, Rare Photo Exhibit, Primitives, Tins which authenticates this bullet with a statement on the back that reads as follows: This bullet casing and bullet slug were both found directly across the street from the OK Corral. Both date to period of the !880's and were found in the direct line of fire to the Historic: "Gunfight at OK Corral." The bullet comes complete with an original museum tag that reads as follows: .45 Colt bullet found on site of Sandy Bob's Stage Office across street from O.K. Corral Gunfight. The condition of this Sandy Bob's Stage recovered .45 caliber bullet is preserved with some patina to the recovered round but otherwise shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this recovered cartridge is 1 3/8" x 1/2" x 1/2" and the display case measures 3/4" x 2" x 2". The collective weight of this recovered cartridge is U4oz. TT-37
