Feb. 10, 1837 Nyholm 4 Rust 11 S/n 72 Although not quite as rare as the $50 the Kirtland $100 being the highest denomination, is in constant demand. Rarely

offered this note actually comes in two types. First there is the ‘Light’ printing as on this example and there is a ‘Dark’ or slightly more bold or dark printing. Both are similar in rarity and neither commands an additional premium. The vignette on the $100’s is quite attractive as it is of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. This note is a very attractive VF+ example which has the additional notoriety of a scarce signature combination. W. Parrish and F.G. Williams penned their signatures to this note. Only five or six Kirtland notes exist with this combination. A splendid note which would make a fine addition to any collection. HKA#63369
