Lot of ten Sweet Caporal baseball photo pins (22 mm): Mathewson, Chief Meyers, Herzog, Crandall, Bridwell, Doyle, Wiltse, Merkle, Devlin and Murray. Christy Mathewson nicknamed "Big Six", "The Christian Gentleman", "Matty", and "The Gentleman's Hurler", was a right-handed pitcher, who played 17 seasons with the New York Giants, and was one of the first five voted into the Hall of Fame in 1936. Chief Meyers was his catcher. On September 23, 1908, Fred Merkle (at 19 years old, the youngest player in the National League), Merkle committed a base-running error that became known as "Merkle's Boner" and earned him the nickname "Bonehead".
