Navajo T Singer Chip Inlay Squash Blossom Necklace
For your consideration is a beautiful Navajo Native American T. Singer chip coral and turquoise sterling silver squash blossom. Tommy Singer was a renowned Navajo Silversmith, in the 1970’s he invented the "chip-inlay" technique of using turquoise or coral chips in his silverwork. This squash blossom necklace features ten sterling silver blossoms with intricately detailed turquoise and coral chip inlay that Singer became famous for. The blossoms also show a spectacular design and hand stamping. The large Naja pendant compliments the blossoms with a gorgeous turquoise chip inlay design and hanging Morenci Turquoise polished gemstone. The sterling silver Naja is signed on the back by the artist T. Singer. The pendant and charms are strung onto a double strand sterling silver beaded concho chain. The necklace measures 37” long when unclasped and weighs 726.5 grams.
