Named NSDAP Golden Party Badge for Ernst Beissner who was an SA leader. Ernst Beißner was born the son of merchant Carl August Beißner (* October 24, 1866 in Grossenwieden, Schaumburg) and Maria Pauline Eleonore Benzenberg (* August 15, 1870 in Wuppertal-Elberfeld). After attending elementary school and secondary school in Hattingen, where he graduated from high school, Beißner completed a two-year commercial apprenticeship in the textile industry .Following a three-month bank traineeship, he joined his father's retail business, where he served as managing director from April 1, 1923, to August 15, 1933. At the same time, he worked as a state lottery collector from February 1, 1925, to September 30, 1933. From August 15, 1933, he was a full-time SA leader.Beißner married his first wife on January 3, 1929. His wife died on April 21, 1930, during the birth of their son, Ernst Jürgen. Beißner's second marriage followed on January 11, 1935. His marriage to Johanna Auguste Friederike (born November 3, 1906 in Haspe) produced two sons, Karl Alfred (born March 21, 1938) and Ralf Frank (born September 20, 1942), and a daughter, Bärbel (born March 7, 1940).Career in the NSDAP and SA in the Weimar Republic (1927 to 1933) On January 27, 1927, Beißner joined the NSDAP ( membership number 55,587). [ 2 ] From November 1, 1930, to February 15, 1932, he served as treasurer of the Hattingen local branch. From September 1, 1931, to February 15, 1932, he held the positions of deputy local branch and propaganda leader of the Hattingen local branch. From September 1, 1931, to December 1, 1931, he was also propaganda leader for the Ennepe-Ruhr district.On January 1, 1931, Beißner joined the SA in Hattingen. From July 1, 1931, to November 30, 1932, he served as the money manager of the SA subgroup Westphalia South. On December 1, 1932, Ernst Röhm appointed him money manager of the SA group Westphalia, a position he held until August 15, 1933.Nazi era On August 15, 1933, Beißner was appointed group financial manager of the SA Group Westphalia. By Führer Order No. 25 of April 1, 1934, he was promoted to Administrative Senior Leader of the SA and appointed leader of the administrative office of SA Group X, a position he held until September 30, 1934. During the Röhm Affair in early summer 1934, Beißner was arrested but not shot.By Führer Order 27 of October 1, 1934, Beißner was appointed leader of the administrative office (cashier) of the SA Group Saxony, a position he held until February 11, 1940. He also became SA Brigadeführer in Dresden . [ 1 ] On February 12, 1940, he was appointed Reich Treasury Administrator. He held this position until April 30, 1940. From May 1, 1940, to December 31, 1940, he was department head (chief of the monetary administration office) in the Supreme SA Leadership in Munich. On January 1, 1941, Beißner was relieved of his previous position and appointed head of the main administration office of the Supreme SA Leadership (Führer Order 76).On 10 April 1938, Beißner was unsuccessfully nominated in the "Führer's list for the election of the Greater German Reichstag ". [ 1 ]Beißner, who left the Protestant Church on December 16, 1937, was also a district leader in the Combat League for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses and a recipient of the NSDAP's bronze and silver long service awards, the Golden Party Badge (No. 55,587, awarded on April 14, 1934), the East Mark Liberation Medal, and the Sudetenland Liberation Medal. He also participated in the Reich Party Rallies of 1934, 1936, 1937, and 1938, and in the Westphalian subgroup march on July 9, 1933, in Dortmund .After being deemed indispensable in 1940 and 1941, Beißner was drafted into the Homeland Anti-Aircraft Unit on May 24, 1943. - We must fill out customs forms accurately for international orders. Please do not ask us to lie on Federal customs forms.
- ALL ITEMS ARE GUARENTEED ORIGINAL UNLESS SPECIFIED DIFFERENTLY IN THE DESCRIPTION. Should a mistake be made on our part, the buyer will be refunded in full and a prepaid return shipping label will be provided.
- All items must be paid for within seven (7) days from the date the invoices are emailed out.
- Frank Zoller Authentic History reserves the right to withdraw any lot at its sole discretion. Frank Zoller Authentic History has final say in any dispute among bids or winning bidders.
- The purchase price payable by a buyer at auction shall be the final bid plus the buyer's premium. All purchases are subject to state sales tax rate unless a valid resale certificate is presented. A resale tax form must be completed in full prior to time of purchase.
- Frank Zoller Authentic History accepts the following methods of payment: cash, certified US bank check, wire transfer (orders over $1,000 only), most major credit cards. 30% buyer premium.
- Items in the catalogue may have a reserve which is a confidential minimum bid price. Any reserve/minimum bid will be either at or below the published low estimate in our catalogue. The auctioneer may open bidding and advance bidding on behalf of the seller, up to the amount of reserve. If a final bid is close to the reserve price the auctioneer may decide to sell the item below the reserve.
- Frank Zoller Authentic History reserves the right to refuse a bid from a potential buyer who has not established themselves with management prior to the auction.
