Lot of 25 handwritten documents. Bonner was an early Superintendent of the Savage Mining Co. Some of the letters are from L. Rawlings another Savage Superintendent in Washoe, Nev; John E. Plater; Egerton, Allen & Co. Mill and Mine Supplies: Receivers of Ores, Bullion, and Gold Dust; and Goss & Lombard from the Sacramento Iron Works. Also included is a handwritten Statement of Finances from 1 July 1866. The company’s total assets were $56,409.99. Most of the correspondence is intercompany, providing an interesting look at the inter-workings of the mining business. Some documents have yellowing, foxing or ink spots, a few tears but the documents are readable and in good condition.
