The Las Vegas and Tonopah Railroad was a 198 mile line running NW from Las Vegas to Goldfield, it was later part of the Union Pacific Railroad between Los Angeles and Salt Lake City. Incorporated in 1905, by late 1906 the tracks reached Rhyolite, by late 1907 the whole line was operational, while the northern end of the line only operated from 1908 - 1914 [Ref: wikipedia.org/LV & T R.R.]. Black print on brown paper, measures 17 1/2" x 23 1/2," mounted in a light colored wood frame (19" x 25"). "JP 11/21" visible near bottom edge of map. Very fine except for one vertical and five horizontal foldlines.
