Lot of 2. 1) F.J. Schneider, Druggist, Eureka, Nev. Is embossed on the side of this small clear medicine bottle, measuring 4 ¼” in height. A defined neck and rim formed to accommodate a cork. Schneider arrived in Nevada in 1860 and became the pioneer druggist of the state. He worked in Eureka from 1870 to his death in 1893. He constructed his own place of business, then lost it and another building he owned in fires, twice in 11 months. He quickly rebuilt and continued on, eventually selling out to Dr. A.M. Cole [Ref: genealogytrails.com/nev/eureka/bios/schneiderfj.html]. 2) a medium aqua blob-top hutch embossed with Bremenkampf & Regli, Eureka, Nev. The blop-top is set on a little off-center, giving the bottle the appearance of listing to one side. There is a yellow stain from the top down into the shoulder on one side. Dates between 1878-1885.
