Company Prospectus: The prospectus is not dated but states that the Company was incorporated under Nevada laws on February 14, 1931 and had a capitalization of 2.5 million shares of common stock. The subheadings include: Properties, Location, Early Production (which gives the highlights of 1904-1907), Present Development, Climate and Water, Topography, Geology and Veins, Gold, Milling Equipment, Mining Equipment, Operations, Management, Legalities, and a Summary. It measures 7.5x14” and has four pages. The purpose of the prospectus is to sell stock and, to this end, at the bottom of the last page some examples of the fabulous monetary returns investors have had on different mining stocks. Letter: to Mr. John W. Hake of New York City, dated December 5, 1932, from J.A. Johnson on Bullfrog Mining and Milling Co., Incorporated letterhead. Measures 8.5x11”, black ink on crème paper. Hake was the President and Financial Director and Johnson was the Treasurer and Field Engineer. In this letter Johnson assures Hake that after further review, he feels this mine is good for another twenty years. He also suggests that dividends to investors could be paid within 90 days. Letter: to Jos. A. Lugar Co. of New York, not signed and dated February 3, 1933. Measures 8x11” on thin paper. The author is writing to the investment company stating that he does not think the mine is a good purchase. He had enclosed a clipping from a journal (unknown) and wants to know if anything had gone wrong at the mine. Two letters: from the Jos. A. Lugar Company in New York to Mr. Charles B. Hugg of Cazenovia, New York. They are both on company letterhead and signed by J.C. Filbert and measure 9x11”. The letter dated February 4, 1933 is evidently a response to a letter from Mr. Hugg that had included information on the mine. There is also a reference to the Degnans having gone to Mexico. The second letter is dated June 27, 1933 and is an acknowledgement of the purchase of 10 shares of stock and a check for $10. Assay Certificate No. 677, dated May 3, 1933, issued by Petcoff & Chauchon of Los Angeles for the Bullfrog Mining and Milling Co. of Beatty. Description: ”Across Four Feet” with values of: Gold per ton 63.60 troy ounces at a value of 1313.61; silver 226 troy ounces at a value of 78.90; total bullion value of $1392.51; other metals: copper 3% at $3 per ton. Letter: to Mr. Chas. B. Hugg of Cazenovia, New York from Jos. A. Lugar dated August 22, 1933 on Bullfrog Mining and Milling letterhead with green bullfrog on letterhead. Lugar was by this time President of the company. He writes, “Charley strain yourself get more of this stock if possible, NOW.” Two envelopes pre-addressed to the Jos. A. Lugar Company in New York. Seven purchase orders used to buy stock in the Bullfrog Mining and Milling Company.
