For your consideration is a N. Delany Halfstock percussion 10 gauge shotgun. Nelson Delany had a business in Bethlehem, PA from 1847 to 1848. Delany then moved to Reading, PA and had a shop there from 1848 to 1885. This firearm utilizes a 27 1/4”nickel plated round barrel. The straight grain walnut stock is in good condition showing signs of use. The tip of the foregrip is capped with a silver end. The ramrod is in good condition and has a brass tip. The top of the barrel is stamped “N. Delany” as well as the right side of the nickel receiver. The hammer and nipple of the percussion cap show good condition. This firearm qualifies as an Antique, and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
