Available for your bidding pleasure is this Copper Gooseneck Dovetail Kettle. This copper kettle shows a traditionally fashioned lid as is the way with the copper kettles of the 1800's. The lid features a flared acorn handle. The goose neck is a style of spout that ends in an open mouth and set along the vertical dovetail joint on the body. The handle of the kettle itself is called an English tapered handle and is hollow to reduce the heat absorption and is identifiable by the small hole in the front of the handle. This exceptional piece shows excellent condition and measures 11 3/4" tall X 12 1/2" wide X 8 1/2" deep.
