Featured in this lot we have a collection of Mexican Huichol Indian beaded bowls and masks originating from the early 1900's. The collection consists of two beaded bowls and two beaded wooden masks. The masks show wood construction with traditional Huichol Indian beaded patterns. The masks show glass trade beads in an array of colors from blue, green, yellow, black, red, orange, white, and other colors. The pieces show wonderful detail and intricate craftsmanship. The two bowls show traditional Huichol Indian beaded art style. The bowls are made of the bottom halves of gourds and show geometric and animal head patterns. The bead work shows bright and vibrant colors. The collection shows good condition overall with some light wear across the piece. The masks measures 4 1/2" long by 3 1/2" wide and the larger of the bowls measures4 3/4" in diameter by 1 1/4" tall with the smaller bowl measuring 3 1/2" in diameter by 1" tall.
