Item/Description: Mid-20th century lithographed tinplate garage playset manufactured by the Mettoy Company in Northampton, England. The toy features detailed printed graphics including brick and tiled service bays, "gas" pumps, directional and safety signage such as "stop blow horn" and "drive in no parking", and a multi-bay forecourt layout typical of 1940s-1950s service stations.

Mettoy, founded in 1933 by Philip Ullmann and Arthur Katz, became a leading British tin toy producer prior to its later development of the Corgi die-cast line.
