Marlon Brando typed letter signed. TLS, dated January 6, 1953, on Marlon Brando’s personal letterhead written to Charles Feldman, producer of A Streetcar Named Desire. It reads (in full): “Dear Charlie, To say that my reply is a little belated is ridiculous. I am sorry; I hope it hasn’t caused you any inconvenience. I am going to be in a film for Stanley Kramer and will be kind of hung up until next fall. Please give my regards to Mr. Wilder and certainly to Vittorio, if and when you see him. Very best wishes for the New Year. Sincerely, [signed] ‘Marlon Brando’”. Includes the original typed note from Feldman, “Dear Marlon: Enclosed is letter I received today from Dudley Nichols re MIRACLE IN THE RAIN. Would you please read it and return it in the enclosed self-addressed envelope. Best, 9-16-52”. The two are affixed with a staple at the upper left corner.
