Majolica Flying Cranes Covered Sugar Bowl
Item/Description: 19th Century Majolica lidded ceramic container. Flying crane and dogwood design with basketweave pattern to lower section. Turquoise ground with flying cranes in brown on one side, colorful floral design the other and to lid. With a yellow woven pattern on base, brown handles and trim. Glazed mark to base and underside of lid. (Thomas Forester)
