Very fine, unique pair of medals to a Burmese recipient for the Saya San Rebellion of 1930-32, rare.

Myook means Township Officer in Burmese. The ‘U’ is a Burmese honorific for addressing senior officials. He would have received the IGS-08 medal with clasp ‘Burma 1930-32’ for his services in putting down the Saya San Rebellion of 1930-32 in British Burma. He was later recommended for the Jubilee medal.
