Each newsletter comprises 6 pages and contains witty stories, background on artists, news stories on employees, etc. An invaluable resource documenting the monthly activities of arguably the studio’s most beloved years, employing Freleng, Avery, Clampett, Jones, Arthur Davis and others. Includes a Dec. 1, 1939 Schlesinger Cartoon Studio “Sketch Pad Varieties” program and 13-page typescript for the sketch, “Ours Not To Reason Why” by David Mitchell which was performed that night.
