Title is One of Us. 17 1/4" by 20 1/4" framed. Leo James Beaulaurier (1911 - 1984) was active/lived in Montana. Leo Beaulaurier is known for Indian portrait, illustrator, mural. Born in Great Falls, Montana, Leo Beaulaurier captured history with his portraits of Native Americans on black velvet, and his murals are in various post offices around the country. He studied at the University of Notre Dame and the Art Center School in Los Angeles. He was active in the art community of Great Falls where he exhibited at the State Fair and local exhibitions.
