The lot features an authentic original Latama Cutlery primo “Walts Classic” model picklock automatic switchblade made in Maniago, Italy in the premium Abalone Shell finish. The Latama Walts Classic switchblade is considered the “Cadillac” of switchblades due to its incredible design, historic reliability and extremely high quality 5MM backspring. This example was handmade by the Latama artisans in Italy using 440C stainless steel with nickel silver bolsters and pommel, brass bolster linings and pins, and premium genuine solid Abalone Shell grips on both sides. The blade shows a full grind front and full grind rear (not sharpened) making it a dagger pattern. Each of these Latama knives are handmade with no two being the exact same and very few produced due to the nature of their detailed craft. The blade is marked LATAMA ITALY and bears the hallmark. Abalone shell is the highest grade of Latama knife you can purchase with this being authentic genuine solid abalone shell having exquisite coloring. The piece is in brand new condition and the auto-matic knife function, which works by pushing the nickel button, works excellently without flaw. The knife measures overall 9 inches in length with a 4-inch-long blade. When closed the knife measures 5 inches in length. Guaranteed to be an original Latama Cutlery Knife. Red dot safety.
