Hollywood Parts and Hollywoodparts.com is an on-line asset management company designed for the entertainment industry. Most of the items up for auction come directly from the studio or production company. We do accept consignments however, but most come from fully vetted entertainment professionals that have worked on that particular show. Hollywood Parts only provides a COA if completely sure of authenticity. Props and wardrobe items will include a Certificate of Authenticity.

Hollywood Parts will send out invoices within 3 working days of auction close. We will contact you to get shipping instructions as many of our items are odd size and require special handling. We recommend full insurance on all shipments. We accept Visa, MasterCard,

By registering to bid or placing a bid you agree to be bound by all of these terms & conditions and any other announced terms and conditions of sale or rules of the site. All Internet bidders agree that bids placed on the Internet shall have the same legal effect as if they were in attendance at the auction as if in person.
1. All property is sold “AS IS”, and ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Property is open to thorough public inspection at Hollywood Parts 12580 Saticoy St., North Hollywood CA 91605. It is the Bidder’s responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other determinative factor. Hollywood Parts may attempt to describe the merchandise in advertising, on the Internet and at the auction but makes no representations. In no event shall Hollywood Parts be held responsible for having made or implied any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Bidder shall be the sole judge of value.
2. 3. All Internet Bidders agree to pay a buyer’s premium equal to Eighteen Percent 18% of the Hammer price of each item they purchase, unless otherwise stated. If the hammer price of an item is $100.00 the buyer’s premium will be $18.00 for a total purchase price of $118.00
3. Bidders who bid from off site and are not present at the live auction or preview understand and acknowledge that they may not be able to inspect an item as well as if they examined it in person. It is the Bidder’s responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other determinative factor. Hollywood Parts shall endeavor to describe in detail each item and any pertinent information and photos about it. Hollywood Parts will not be responsible for any errors or omissions in the description of the merchandise. Bidder agrees All goods are sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with no warranties or guarantees "WITHOUT RECOURSE". Bidder agrees that under no circumstances whatsoever will Hollywood Parts ever be liable to any bidder for an amount greater than the purchase price of the item they purchased.
4. Hollywood Parts is providing Internet bidding as a service to Bidder. Bidder acknowledges and understands that this service may or may not function correctly the day of the auction. Under no circumstances shall Bidder have any kind of claim against Hollywood Parts or anyone else if the Internet service fails to work correctly before or during the live auction. Hollywood Parts will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source. Hollywood Parts reserves the right to withdraw or re-catalog items in this auction.
5. The auctioneer shall advance the bidding at his own discretion. Hollywood Parts may withdraw any item before or during the auction. Should a tie or a dispute arise between two bidders, the auctioneer may, at his discretion, reopen the bidding until the property is sold. The record of the auction made by Hollywood Parts shall be conclusive.
6. When the auctioneer says “sold” Bidder assumes full responsibility for the merchandise. Everything MUST be paid for in full within 10 Business days following auction. Invoices will be sent to the winning bidders within 3 business days of auction. Payment shall be made in cash or Cashiers check or by VISA, MasterCard, Discover or PayPal . If a check accepted by Hollywood Parts is returned for any reason bidder agrees that the Hollywood Parts may re-present it in person or electronically and collect the amount of the check as well as the highest service charges and fees allowed under California law. Unless exempted by law, the purchaser shall pay any and all applicable taxes. Bidder agrees to indemnify the Hollywood Parts against any claim if sales tax is not collected on Bidder’s purchases. Bidder agrees to not stop payment on any check paid to Hollywood Parts. Bidder further agrees that under no circumstances will he/she initiate a chargeback on his/her credit card or Paypal.
7. Packing and shipping costs are the full responsibility of the buyer. Hollywood Parts can crate and ship anywhere at the expense of the buyer. We strive to keep shipping and handling costs to a minimum and will advise shipping costs in the invoice sent within 3 business days. We always recommend full insurance on merchandise. Any merchandise not removed by bidder may be charged a storage fee, resold at the next auction or disposed of in any other way Hollywood Parts deems to be suitable. Freight costs go up for delivery outside of large cities and extra charges for a liftgate or oversize items can occur.
8. Hollywood Parts may refuse a buyer’s number to anyone for any reason. Bidder agrees to provide any identification Hollywood Parts may request. Bidder agrees to comply with any stated additional terms or conditions associated with particular items.
9. We want you to be happy with your purchases. If you have questions about the merchandise the time to ask questions is well in advance of the live auction. No returns are allowed. Thank you for your patronage.
10. Movie props are not actual working items and should not be purchased for any reason other than display. Hollywood Parts is not responsible for any item that doesn’t operate as it did in a film or originally intended.
11.. All international shipments are subject to additional duties and tax fees, which will be billed directly to you via the selected shipper and we will not claim a lower value on a lot to avoid customs on international shipments. Some international shippers will not insure high dollar shipments to foreign countries. Be aware of this before you buy!
