Most items will be shipped from Ireland. Shipping within EUROPE: 29 EUROS. Shipping OUTSIDE EUROPE: 49 EUROS. N: Brand New: Never touched. Still a gem. Very good investment value.
AA: Perfect condition: Perfect condition, has barely been worn, has kept excellent shape, no flaws. The top second hand condition, almost as if you bought it in the store. Very good investment value as well.
A: Excellent condition: Shows little signs of year, has been kept in really good environment, remains very valuable for a second hand item, really good investment.
AB: Regular wear signs, has been used often but kept in very good condition for daily use, beautiful patina. A great deal.
B: Good/Fair condition: A vintage piece, with all the wear it involves, may present some small cracks in canvas or leather, beautiful patina, good for relax and everyday use.
2) Return policy
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery, provided the item remains in it's original condition when we receive it and still presents its security seal.
As the customer, you are responsible for the shipping cost for returning the product to us, however we will organize it with our preferred transport agent.
The shipping cost will then be deducted from your refund.
For example, item sold 300 Euros + 29 Euros (shipping cost to Europe) = 329 Euros. If you decide to return the item, we will arrange the return shipment, and will refund you 300 Euros - 29 Euros (return shipping cost) = 271 Euros.
3) Estimates
Estimates are provided for guidance only and cannot be considered as implying the certainty that the item will be sold for the estimated price or even within the bracket of estimates. Estimates cannot constitute any warranty assurance whatsoever. The estimations can be provided in several currencies; the conversions may, in this case or, be rounded off differently than the legal rounding.
4) The auction
Any person who is a bidder undertakes to pay personally and immediately the hammer price increased by the costs to be born by the buyer and any and all taxes or fees/expenses that may be due. Any bidder is deemed to be acting on his own behalf except when prior notification, accepted by BRAND CONNECTION, unless proof is provided that he is acting as an agent on behalf of a third party.
BRAND CONNECTION may agree to execute orders submitted before the auction and by BRAND CONNECTION that have been deemed acceptable. BRAND CONNECTION is entitled to request a deposit that will be refunded within 72 hours after the auction if the lot is not sold to this buyer. Should BRAND CONNECTION receive several instructions to bid for the same amounts. It is the instruction bid first received that is given preference. BRAND CONNECTION will bear no liability/responsibility in case of mistakes or omission of performance of the written order.
In the event a reserve price has been stipulated by the seller, BRAND CONNECTION reserves the right to bid on behalf of the seller until the reserve price is reached. The seller will not be admitted to bid himself directly through an agent. The reserve price may not be higher than the low estimate for the lot printed in or publicly modified before the sale.
BRAND CONNECTION will conduct auction sales at their discretion, ensuring free auction conditions and equality among all bidders, in accordance with established practices.
BRAND CONNECTION reserves the right to refuse any bid, to organize the bidding in such manner as may be the most appropriate, to move some lots in the course of the sale, to withdraw any lot in the course of the sale, to combine or to divide some lots in the course of the sale. In case of challenge or dispute, BRAND CONNECTION reserves the right to designate the successful bidder, to continue the bidding or to cancel it, or to put the lot back up for bidding.
To the decision of the person conducting the bidding for Brand Connection, the successful bidder will be the bidder making highest bid, provided the final bid is equal to or higher than the reserve price if such a reserve price has been stipulated. The hammer stroke will mark the acceptance of the highest bid and the pronouncing of the word "Sold" or any equivalent will indicate the conclusion of the purchase contract between the seller and the last bidder taken in consideration.
5) Concluding the sale
In addition of the lot's hammer price, the buyer must pay the following costs and fees/taxes by lot: 30% (including current Ireland VAT). The payment of the lot will be made either by Paypal or by wire transfer in Euros (or in other currencies at the rate of exchange provided on the day of the payment by www.xe.com). Brand Connection Paris is a brand name owned by the company Global Luxury Treasures Ltd., incorporated in the Republic of Ireland, which will collect payments for the auction.
6) Auction procedures
In case of dispute, Brand Connection reserves the right to designate the successful bidder, to continue the sale or to cancel it, or to put the lot up for sale.
Brand Connection reserves the right to claim against the defaulting buyer, if they so choose: - interest at the legal rate increased by five points, - reimbursement of additional costs generated by the buyer's default. Brand Connection reserves the right to exclude from any future auction, any bidder who has been a defaulting buyer or who has not fulfilled these general conditions of purchase.
7) Intellectual property right-copyright
The copyright in any and all parts of the catalogue is the property of Brand Connection. Any reproduction thereof is forbidden and will be considered as a counterfeit to their detriment. Any reproduction of Brand Connection catalogue may therefore constitute an illegal reproduction of a work that may lead its perpetrator to be prosecuted for counterfeiting by the holder of copyright on the work.
