Interesting letter written for the president of the Iron Car Company WW kirby. "By the end of the year the company will be earning over $250,000 a year." Sent October 17, 1889. Seems to have been in business from 1893 to 1890. The railroad site www.midcontinent.org/rollingstock reports that there was an attempt to reorganize the company in 1890/91 but to no avail.
