c.1963, 21" x 47" charcoal on velum. Walt Disney and his WED Enterprises designed four major attractions for the 1964-65 New York World’s Fair; one being the Ford Pavilion, featuring a "Magic Skyway" adventure. To keep the long lines of attendees entertained, eleven international city scenes were intricately reproduced in miniature, and set about the latest models of Ford automobiles.
