A piece from Haitian artist Ernest Louizor. The art measures 7 1/2” x 5 ½” approximately. It is oil on wood, and depicts a villager scene with varying colors. The frame measures 12 5/8” x 9 7/8” x 2” Deep. Would add a beautiful touch to any room in the house with its beautiful color and pleasing tones. Has a wire mounted on the back of the frame, ready to be hung on the wall of your choice. Some wear and tear is visible on the frame. Something has been written on the back of the painting by it's previous owner. About Ernest Louizor: born in October 1938 in Partu-au-Prince. He is considered the leading impressionist painter of Haiti, Louizor has many disciples. He has exhibited in Europe and the US, and his works hang in many private collections.
