Gem Mining Estate Madagascar Exclusive; Very unusual Sapphire from the Vatomandry region of Madagascar. Inclusions? Yes, some rutile needles and sagenittic ghost rutiles, small enough to be invisible to the naked eye, but visible under magnification to show its natural and untreated state. The colour is a mixture and changes upon different lighting conditions, e.g. daylight or incandescent light. A very special gem for the collector and maybe a challenge for the jeweller.
