1905, 1906 - 1) A double-sided badge and ribbon from the Junior United Order of American Masons, Local Union/ No. 450/ Goldfield, Nev. One side is black ribbon with gold lettering, and the other side is blue ribbon with gold lettering. The shield shaped badge features the insignia of the organization, and hangs from a small bar with American flag motifs. Including the coiled wire fringe, this measures 8" long by 2.25" wide. Good condition, some wear. 2) A small booklet of miniature photo cards showing Goldfield mining scenes. Measures 3.25" x 4.25" and includes over 20 different images of miners, ore dumps, equipment, and buildings. Produced by Tom Jones, 1905. 3) A 2.5" x 5.5" hardbound Membership Card for the "Western Federation/ of/ Miners/ Mining Department/ I. W. W." Endorsed on reverse by Charles Meyer, president, and William D. Faywood, secretary-treasurer. The inside contains 12 Goldfield Miner`s Union Hospital Due stamps, all endorsed and stamped, and some with assayers stamps placed on top. This card belonged to Frank Burnett, admitted 30 Oct. 1906, and endorsed by P. Walsh, financial secretary. Good condition, with some age-related wear on the cover text. This exciting collection captures moments of Goldfield history from its early days in the early 20th century. -61549
