Gettysburg, Pennsylvania Civil War Memorabilia in a glass frame. Includes (2) Wooden Canteens made from wood on Culp's Hill, Gettysburg, Pa. on one side is a black & white photo of Jennie Wade and the other side a photo of John L. Burns. Burns was a veteran of the War of 1812 and a former constable of Gettysburg, Pa., as well as a cobbler in 1863. When the battle began he joined Wister's Troops and later the Iron Brigade. In 1903 his statue was erected on the Gettysburg Battlefield. Also, included in this frame is a black & white card portraying Jennie Wade and her house at Gettysburg, as well as a gold-filled pin-back with her photo and a post card of the Barbara Fritchie Monument, Frederick, Md. 'Doc' valued this collection at $500.00.
