Available in this lot we have a Navajo Native American Fred Harvey sterling silver and turquoise old pawn bracelet originating from the 1930's. The bracelet shows sterling silver construction with three cabochons of cripple creek turquoise and applied silver accents. The piece shows hand tooled geometric and arrow designs in the silver with silver rope and beads around the turquoise. Fred Harvey jewelry was made for the Anglo tourist along the Santa Fe railroad lines, in hotels and retail shops run primarily by the Fred Harvey Company. Harvey hired Navajo silversmith to create decorative symbolized jewelry for the tourist trade. Fred Harvey era jewelry is widely collected and sought after. It is easy to wear, and generally with a fair amount of ornamentation and stamping. The bracelet shows good condition with a warm patina. The piece measures approximately 6 1/2" in circumference and 3/4" at the widest.
