Included in this lot is a Fred Harvey Navajo Native American sterling silver bracelet from the late 19th century. Fred Harvey era jewelry is generally a lightweight jewelry that was made for sale to the Anglo tourist along the Santa Fe railroad lines, in hotels and retail shops run primarily by the Fred Harvey Company. Fred Harvey era jewelry is widely collected and sought after. It is easy to wear, and generally with a fair amount of ornamentation and stamping. This piece was made early in Fred's life around the 1890-1900's. It features a heavily stamped design and repousse features in the middle of the cuff. The interior of the bracelet is marked "Thunderbird Jewelry Makers". The interior dimensions of the bracelet measures approximately 6".
