Included in this lot we have a framed Charlie Russell print titled "Indian Camp". Charles Marion Russell (March 19, 1864 – October 24, 1926),also known as C. M. Russell, Charlie Russell, and "Kid" Russell, was an artist of the Old American West. Russell created more than 2,000 paintings of cowboys, Indians, and landscapes set in the Western United States and in Alberta, Canada, in addition to bronze sculptures. This print depicts a group of Native American women and children as the work on scraping a large hide at the edge of some teepees. The figures are shown in colorful outfits with three women in the center and a few kids on the right side. The piece shows two teepees on the right and a group of four horses on the left with teepees extending into the distance across the top left. The print is marked in the bottom right corner reading "Montana Historic Society". The piece is set into a simple wooden frame with the back of the frame marked "Indian Camp By Charles M. Russell". The piece shows good condition overall with some light wear across the frame. The frame measures 21 1/4" wide by 15 3/4" tall with the art measuring 17 3/4" wide by 12 1/4" tall.
