A collection of vintage and antique framed artwork, freshly out of a private estate. Includes original oil paintings, pencil-signed etchings, Old Master reproduction prints, Canadian and English equestrian and hunt scenes, wildlife and waterfowl prints, floral still lifes, prairie and Quebec landscapes, Buzza-style motto prints, and decorative gilt-framed groupings. Many pieces are signed in the plate or in pencil; artists represented include A.H. Hider, Heywood Hardy, J.S. Sanderson Wells, F.C. Hutchison, W. Vik, Dorothy Sherman, and after Jan Davidsz de Heem. Frames range from carved gilt and gesso to linen-matted gallery frames and rustic wood. Condition varies and is noted lot by lot — expect honest age-appropriate wear.
