This is a nice set of three authentic pre-historic Clovis points with two being highly fluted from the Ohio / Kentucky area and were recovered in the 1920’s by Roger Clemons. The first point shows a rare Crescent Quarry Flint material having a slight green coloring with red/brown spotted matrix and is in very well-preserved museum quality condition having a slight belly like a St. Louis Clovis point. This point shows fluting one both sides with the fluting extending more than halfway down the piece, a truly expert example. The second example shows a typical Clovis point with fluting on both sides and is in a white speckled flint material. And lastly is an point in a quartz material which could either be an Unfluted Clovis or Coldwater point. These 15,000-10,000 B.P. Range artifacts are from the Ohio / Kentucky Native American Indians and are a nice Clovis point examples showing wonderful detail and good condition. The white / green examples appear to have a nice high grade and are truly nice points. The larger point measures 2.5”L and the others are each 2 1/8” L.
