This auction features a collection of three wooden boxes embossed and labeled with various brands. The first item is a Walter Baker & Co. Cocoa container. The front has a paper label of good coloring with black text on a maroon field reading "Walter Baker & Co. Ltd. Breakfast Cocoa, Dorchester, Mass". The sides have black embossing showing "Gold Medal Winner Paris 1900". The back pictures a woman carrying a tray with two cups. This item comes with a lid which has been broken in two but carries the text "To be kept cool and dry". The next piece is a dovetailed box featuring Smooth Climax Plug Tobacco. Two sides of the box have red text with the name "Smooth Climax, 5 plugs" and one side has "P. Lorillard Company, Climax Tobacco". One corner of the box has two stamps attached. The bottom of the box has a legal requirement embossed message. The last piece is a box with hinged lid with a paper label on the front and also on the interior of the lid. The front label has text reading "Hearle's Magnum Soap Tablets" along with two illustrations of bee hives. The interior lid label has text reading the same with a crest flanked by a lion and horse. The largest item is this piece which measures 18" x 8.5" x 4.5"H.
