Item/Description: Two antique Russian brass samovars, traditional tea urn containers used for heating and boiling water. Manufactured by Samovar Factory of Peter Vasilyevich Salishchev in Tula, Russia. Samovars are stamped with maker's marks and reprints of medals awarded to the company to signify quality and prestige. The presence of the Imperial Russian double-headed eagle emblem on one of the prominent medals indicates that the factory's products were officially approved during the Imperial era. Another medal stamp is dated 1903.

The Samovar Factory of Pyotr Vasilievich Salishchev was a notable enterprise in Tula, Russia, known for producing high-quality antique samovars (traditional Russian tea urns) during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
