Blade front sight and fixed iron "v" notch rear sight on the smooth solid rib with dolls head extension. Behind the rear sight on the rib are two sets of drilled and tapped holes with 4 inch spacing. The barrel flats are marked with various British proof marks, as well as the matching serial number on each barrel. The locks and frame have a simple scroll border engraving and each lock is marked "HOLLAND & HOLLAND". The left side of the frame is marked "CHARGE 8 TO 10 DRAMS CASE 3 1/4 INCHES". The water table is marked with two "crown/V" and the matching serial number. The matching serial number is also marked on the lower tang and forearm hardware. Blue barrels, casehardened remaining parts, and mounted with a checkered walnut splinter forearm and pistol grip stock with a solid recoil pad, sling swivel eye and silver initial oval. Length of pull is 13 1/2 inches, drop at comb is 2 inches, drop at heel is 2 7/8 inches, cast off is 1/4 inch.

Fine with 70% blue finish remaining on the barrels with areas fading to a smooth plum patina. The top barrel rib has four filler screws installed. The frame retains 30% faded case colors with a smooth mottled gray patina on the balance. The locks have a smooth mottled gray patina with strong muted case colors in protected areas. The remaining metal surfaces have a smooth mottled brownish gray patina. The wood is very good with some scattered minor dents and dings. The checkering remains crisp. The markings are clear. Mechanically fine.
