Offered in this lot is a Sioux Native American Indian, venue poster, advertising for "11 Indian Musicians and Entertainers". The poster shows red, white, and blue silk screen graphics, depicting a regal Sioux Warrior, and reading boldly across the top "DANCE", as well as "Stecker Brothers Presents - Sioux Indian Orchestra". The poster has a blank spot on the bottom where the venue and date would be filled in, this poster advertises for "Music Hall - Aug. 9th". The poster is believed to date to the late first quarter or early second quarter of the 20th century. At the very bottom of the poster, it reads "Stecker Brothers Twin City Music Service, Minneapolis, MINN.". The poster shows good condition, it does exhibit some browning to the white medium, and shows some slight tears, it still displays very nicely. The frame the poster is mounted in measures 16 5/8" wide, and 24 1/4" tall.
