The lot features a fully beaded ceremonial dance wand war club from the Crow Native American Indians. The Indian Reservation Period trading post piece shows a carved stone head on a wood haft with Indian tanned hide wrappings being covered in glass trade seed beads. The beadwork would be classified as the "Crazy Crow" design or pattern due to its alternating mismatched colors ranging from greasy yellow, chalk white, sky blue, Cheyenne pink, medium green, various semi-transparent beads of many colors and more. The piece shows three sections of fringe found at the head and third sections down the haft. The piece is in overall good condition. Measures overall 17"L x 5"W x 1.5"D.
