Set of four issued and cancelled certificates from this famous Colorado railroad. 1) Orange preferred stock issued in 1925 to William B. Chase for three shares at $100 each, signed by A.E. Carlton as president. Two oval mining vignettes with a railroad in between. EF.2) Dark green common stock issued in 1928 to Mary Rollins for one share at $100. Signed by L.G. Carlton as vice president. A couple of tiny tears in the top margin. 3)Forest green common stock issued in 1930 to The Golden Cycle Corporation for 100 shares at $100 each. Signed by L.G. Carlton as vice president. EF. 4)Brown preferred stock issued in 1930 to The Golden Cycle Corporation for 100 shares at $100. Signed by L.G. Carlton as vice president. EF. The Cripple Creek Central Railway was the successor to the Denver & Southwestern Railway in 1904. The company formerly controlled the Cripple Creek & Colorado Springs R.R. and the Midland Terminal Railway.
