Lot of 7. 1) Draft horse collar and hames. The collar is constructed of padded leather with a wooden frame, to which are attached iron connector rings for attaching the hames, lines and traces. At the front of the collar is a sturdy chain to attach to the wagon tongue. The curved hames pieces have brass balls at the tip ends and connector rings at the lower ends. 2) Black oiled leather draft horse headstall with blinders and O-ring snaffle bit attached. 3) Roughout leather and rawhide Chinks (short chaps), fringed on outside edge and bottom. The left leg side is torn and some fringe is missing. The waistband is rawhide and sewn in a scalloped pattern; the two leg pieces are laced together with a leather strap at the back of the waist, and are buckled with leather straps at the front. The chinks measure 26” from top of waistband to fringe and were designed to extend to mid-calf rather than to cover the entire leg. 4) Pair of metal faced wooden “box” stirrups, measuring 3” in width at the base. Lined with tin on the outside for extra protection in rough terrain. 5) Pair of leather covered stirrups, laced together with rawhide over a wooden frame. Slightly narrower than the previous pair, measuring 2.5” width at base. 6) Single iron spur, 1” band, 1.5” shank with 10-point rowel. Leather spur strap included. No markings. 7) Large old, ranch dinner bell triangle, 16" x 18,” made of hexagonal iron stake (open end is pointed). Chain has been looped around the top for hanging. No striker included. -59681
