For your consideration is this Collection of Native American Celts & Arrow Tools. This collection includes many very well preserved Native American tools; including celts and an awl sharpening stone along with an arrow shaft scraper. A celt is a prehistoric stone or metal implement with a beveled cutting edge, probably used as a tool or weapon. The awl shapening stone is in good condition and is well preserved; the origin is unknown. The arrow shaft scraper is also in good condition and is well preserved and it was found on the eastern shore of Maryland. One of the celts was found in Ohio, as was the two artifacts that are presented in the shadowboxes. The measurements of theses shadowboxes range from 8 1/4" x 6 1/2" x 3/4" to 8 1/4" x 6 1/2" x 2".
