Offered for sale is a Civil War Lullman & Vienna .45 Caliber Octagon Derringer. The derringer features a 3 1/2" octagon barrel, walnut grip, engraving, and gold band. This Civil War derringer is a great piece of history. It was found buried in Galena, Illinois underneath a house that dated back to the Civil War. This derringer was manufactured by Lullman & Vienna in Memphis, Tennessee. Lullman & Vienna was a well known dealer in derringer style pistol in the 1850's. This pistol is in fair condition for its age. It shows wear and age from being stored under a building. The lock plate is missing and various pieces show great wear. The grip is cracked. This is a antique firearm. NO FFL transfer or NICS background check required.
