This antique southern Chinese stoneware tea pot has its original stopper, and features a hexagonal shape with raised handles, and a rich blue and green glazed finish. No hallmarks. Measures 8" wide/deep and 9" high. Weighs estimated 5-7 lbs.

This item comes from the collection of Roni Steinberg Sokoloff and resided in her former 63-acre estate in Bedford New York known as Cantitoe Farms. (Formerly known as Sycamore Farms, the estate is down the road from Martha Stewart's home by the same name.) The jug was purchased by Ms. Sokoloff in the 1980s.
