The lot features a Cheyenne beaded skull cracker war club from the early Indian Reservation Period circa early 1900’s The piece shows an unusually long wood haft handle wrapped in old parfleche rawhide with sinew sewing with a dark red / brown painted finish showing a linear glass trade seed beadwork design in light blue butterscotch yellow, and purple. The head is secured with parfleche shows a pointed stone design which has been covered with a dark red / brown paint. Overall the piece has a nice patina and is in good condition. The war club measures 33" long overall with the head measuring 6" long.
