Included in this lot we have a Framed Charles Russell "A Dangerous Sport" Framed Print. Charles Marion Russell (March 19, 1864 – October 24, 1926), also known as C. M. Russell, Charlie Russell, and "Kid" Russell, was an artist of the Old American West. Russell created more than 2,000 paintings of cowboys, Indians, and landscapes set in the Western United States and in Alberta, Canada, in addition to bronze sculptures. The original watercolor was done by Russell in 1924 in Great Falls, Montana. It was one of his last works as an artist. This print is numbered "213 of only 1000" and comes with it's certificate of authenticity. This print shows two cowboys on horseback with one of the riders roping a mountain lion. This piece comes displayed in a wonderful wood frame. The frame measures 22 1/2" by 29 1/4". The print measures 13" by 20".
