<B>CITY MARSHALL RHYOLITE, NEVADA CIRCA 1905-1910</B></I> - <BR>This large, stamped shield badge with a center-stamped star has a nice soft finish patina, and extensive encrustations on the reverse. The one-piece iron pin retains the original weld, and the fired enamel inside the lettering is now greenish in color. The badge is made of nickel silver, and measures 2.5" x 2.6". Rhyolite, Nevada experienced a gold rush around 1905, and quickly became a ghost town around 1915.
