Train No. 8, taking freight from Gold Hill to Carson. 2) Two checks from the Brodie Bank, datelined Bodie, Cal. Check No. 18949 for $200 dated 1881, 19212 for $131.50 for 1882. Vignette of allegorical woman along the left border holding shield with anchor and "HOPE" emblazoned on it with left arm outstretched towards the sea. Each has an orange RN-G1 revenue stamp imprint centered. 3) Copy of Bodie and Esmeralda, by Wasson, Jos. Published by Spaulding, Barto & Co., Steam Book and Job Printers, "Mining and Scientific Press" office, 414 Clay St., S.F. 1878. Souvenir Edition - 1963. Softcover, 60 pages, including maps and illustrations. Deluxe Edition - 100 Copies, Centennial Souvenir Edition - 400 Copies. Co-published by Wendell Hammon and Theron Fox. 4) Liquor License No. 3, State of California, County of Mono. Dated 188_. Signed by Bill H. Miller, County Auditor. No other information listed. 5) Twenty-two "Pee Cards, Not Transferable. Bodie, California Over the Bodie Trail. Tear Off Coupon and Give to Chauffer." Five "STOP" coupons attached to each card, "unique" pieces of ephemera.
