Included in this lot we have a Union Shop barber shop lithograph tin sign originating from the late 1800's to the early 1900's. The sign displays a bald eagle standing on a American flag shield with a seal on the left side. The front of the sign is marked "Union Shop! Labor Omnia Vincit." with the seal reading "Journeymen Barbers International Union of America - A. F. of L. Org'd Dec. 5. 1887.". The piece is marked as union property and signed by the General Secretary Treasurer in the bottom right corner. The sign is marked across the cardboard back with the rules and regulations for the shop cards as per Union rules. The sign comes with a chain to hang the piece on the wall of a shop. The sign shows good condition overall with minor wear due to age. The sign measures 9 1/2" wide by 7 1/2" tall.
