Antique Hand-Painted Porcelain Twin-Handled Vase Attributed to Royal Worcester
A porcelain twin-handled vase of slender amphora form, attributed to Royal Worcester based on form and decoration. The white glazed body features a central hand-painted spray of pink wild roses, accented with leaves in green and polished gold. The shoulder and base of the vase display molded vertical fluting, with each rib highlighted by gold bands. Two elongated, gilded handles sweep from the neck to the sides of the cylindrical body; the outer faces of the handles are decorated with a repeating white loop pattern against a gold ground. The rim and neck are similarly embellished with thick gold banding. The base of the vase retains a circular silver-toned collector or retailer label for the Rubin Collection. No manufacturer or factory marks are visible on the underside.
