Item/Description: Antique figural humidor tobacco jar of a North African nomad wearing a Berber head dress. Underside marked 55. Antique tobacco jars were immensely popular in the mid-to-late 19th century and were primarily used to store loose pipe tobacco at home or in shops, often serving as decorative or figural status symbols.
