For your bidding pleasure is this Al Furstnow Miles City, MT Heart Shoulder Holster. This holster in in good condition showing an elastic band that wraps around the off shoulder. The leather construction is very good showing multiple layers machine sewn or buck stitched together. The shoulder holster shows classic western buck stitching and is adorned with a heart in the center of the holster. Al Furstnow, learned saddlery business from his father at the age of 19. He worked for Collins in Cheyenne in 1881 and Goettlich in Miles City starting in 1883. In a highly successful effort to help fill the world’s need for saddles, the firms started by Al Furstnow and Charlie Coggshall blended assembly line techniques from back East with custom care exercised by the one-man shops of the West. The measurements of this holster are 11" shoulder to shoulder 16" top of shoulder to bottom of holster 8" x 5 1/2" for holster dimensions.
